I thought things were crazy before, but the last month or so has been even more complicated. (If you're curious, I've written about it in "A Personal Update" on page 6.)

These days "artificial intelligence" can be polarizing—is it good or is it bad? Does it suck or is it useful?
But Tim Dietrich has come up with a different way of using AI that sounds promising (see "From Idea to Prototype"). Instead of using AI to write questionable code, he uses it for planning and design of projects. That promises to be a real timesaver as it can prevent you from wasting resources by going in the wrong direction. I can't wait to try this!
Tim also writes about an important change for Android developers: Google's new developer verification requirements.
Continuing with his series of using declares on Raspberry Pi, Eugene shows how to create custom save file dialogs.
Finally, I contribute a little project I made when I wanted to import weight data from my internet scale to Apple's Health app and needed to convert the data into the proper format.
In our columns, Tim interviews our Christian Schmitz, Paul writes about unit testing, Stefanie shows how to make your apps talk, and I graph some weight data in
Beginner's Corner . Enjoy!
