I'm back from a whirlwind trip to Europe—and a productive and inspiring Xojo conference. I met lots of interesting people, obtained some eager new writers, and I've got ideas for plenty more xDev content.
I've also got plenty of stuff I need to learn, including tons of AI techniques!
It's definitely an exciting time to be a Xojo developer. While AI right now is rather divided and confusing, the potential is real. We're not quite at the "describe an app and it is created for you," but we are getting closer. This is the awkward point in the middle of a technological revolution where nothing works as advertised. Be patient. Better is coming.
In This Issue
Obviously, the main focus of this issue is my report on the MBS Xojo conference in Andernach, Germany. As always, I detail my travels as well as the event itself. I see them as intertwined, and all part of the same adventure. Enjoy nearly 40 pages of my report as well as over 100 photos of my journey!
Eugene is back with another Raspberry Pi project, explaining how to use interrupts.
I also expand on my previous article about Apple Foundation Models, demonstrating some new AI skills that I spoke about in Germany.
In our columns, Paul writes about optimization, Stefanie goes over dialogs in Windows, and in
Beginner's Corner , I explain how RSS works and how to follow the Xojo Forum. Enjoy!
