In July, Xojo 2016 Release 2 was made available and in addition to the more than 150 bug fixes, there were a few notable new features:

* HiDPI for Web Apps

* Significant improvement to HiDPI for Windows

* Lots of iOS love

HiDPI

I talked about desktop HiDPI in the previous column, and starting with 2016r2 you now also can easily enable HiDPI for your web apps. With HiDPI turned on (using the same Shared Build Setting you use for desktop apps), your web apps will use HiDPI images when running on a web browser on a HiDPI display.
