Excerpt of article text...
REAL Software announces REALbasic for Windows
REAL Software announced that the next version of the REALbasic IDE will support both Macintosh and Windows as development platforms. This means that for the first time, Windows users will be able to write Macintosh applications without a Macintosh! The file format for REALbasic projects will be fully cross-platform, meaning that you can start a project on one platform, move it to the other, and continue to edit it. There's no need to "convert" a project from Mac to Windows or vice versa. REALbasic for Windows is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2003.
