Excerpt of article text...
What is Macdeveloper.net?
MacDeveloper is an opt-in service for testers who love what the Mac community offers and genuinely wants to test. And at the same time a developer's software is being tested, they're also giving back to the community who supports them. MacDeveloper makes it fun for Beta Testers too. By registering to test your software, who wouldn't want to receive coupons for free software, or purchase software at a fat discount?
a) The Beta Pool is specific to the kind of application you've submitted for testing. So from the outset, you're only going to get testers who're motivated to test.
b) The bar has been raised significantly. You can not only expect to get quality testers for your first application, but every application you submit for testing.
c) No longer do you have to spend time recruiting testers! MD does this for you. You can spend more time coding and taking care of your customers.
d) Enhance the quality of your product(s) by a lot.
e) Because of the way we have implemented things, not only will you get great testers, you're getting great customers. Your chances of having a tester purchase an update is significantly higher - even if that same tester happened to test your next update through our system.
