Excerpt of article text...
In December 2009, REAL Software shipped REALbasic 2009 Release 5.1. One of the big changes for Release 5 was that REALSQLDatabase (aka SQLite) was upgraded to SQLite 3.6.20. Additionally, the plugin that integrates SQLite into REALbasic was significantly rewritten.
Unfortunately, there were a few bugs related to these changes that made SQLite in Release 5 not really usable. Fortunately REAL Software quickly addressed these problems in Release 5.1.
Background
Up until REALbasic 2009 Release 5, REALbasic was using SQLite 3.4.2, which was released in August 2007. SQLite 3.6.20 was released in November 2009, so there have been more than two years worth of changes in between these two versions.
