SQLLite is a nice little database engine that provides quick, easy access for storing of text-based data. For more information check out the La Jolla Underground page at http://www.ljug.com/sw/sqliteplugin.html. At the time of this writing, the plugin is at Version 1.2 and is available for Mac OS X, OS 9, and Windows. This plugin also works wtih REALbasic Standard, which I think gives it the distinction of being the first free database solution for that edition of REALbasic.

Also newly released is a REALbasic native set of classes to access PostgreSQL. It also works with REALbasic Standard. It is available from Aliacta International Corporation, http://www.aliacta.com.
