Can you believe 2023 is almost over? After the sluggish Covid years, time is back into the fast lane. Xojo now compiles code for all the major platforms, Apple just announced faster M3 processors (https://sixcolors.com/post/2023/10/a-magic-number-new-macbook-pros-and-imacs-usher-in-the-m3-era/), and next year we'll have the Vision Pro (which is interesting, if nothing else). It's quite an interesting time.

Call for Writers

As I mentioned last issue, I'm still looking for writers. I'd especially love to have some Android and iOS content. Please contact me (publisher@xdevmag.com) if you're interested.

In This Issue

We've got a nice mix of fun and serious this time, with me writing an article on making a "find the differences" game and editor, as well as beginning a series on design patterns.

Stefanie explains how to create multi-column PDFs and Eugene continues his Raspberry Pi series, this time exploring the SPI communication protocol.

In our columns, we cover Xojo's latest Zip and Sets additions, cool gauges with MBS, SQL stored procedures, and more. Enjoy!
