Next month I'll head to Christian Schmitz's Xojo Conference in Andernach, Germany. I hope to see some of you there!

In This Issue

Meanwhile, I'm exploring Apple's Vision Pro. It's early days, but I love technology, and this device, despite compromises, is the most fun thing I've had in years. I write about what it's like to use it, how practical it is for real work, and where it might fit with Xojo development.

I'd like to welcome a new writer to xDev, Tim Dietrich! He's going to be doing a regular column where he interviews various Xojo developers, and he's written a feature on how to create hybrid Android apps.

Eugene continues his Raspberry Pi series, this time showing how to control a servo.

I also continue my Design Patterns series, going over the Factory pattern. And with the European Digital Marketplace Act going into effect shortly, I also write an opinion piece about Apple's compliance with the new law.

In our columns, Tim interviews Tim Hare and Marc is too busy with his Vision Pro to write a Beginner's Corner this issue, but Paul explains static variables and Stefanie shows how to find Windows and Mac devices using the MonkeyBread plugins. Enjoy!
