This fourth and final part of my article on disorder tracking shows how I made the medication and disorder workflows work together.

First, I explain how disorder tracking makes use of medication data. I describe how I designed the lookup table, then how I designed and modified the relevant views. Finally, I demonstrate how I overhauled and re-factored the medication workflow.

Readers are expected to have a working knowledge of REALbasic and SQL.

The Role of Medications

As stated in the last article, vitals and medication data have roles to play in disorder tracking. Whereas vitals data give a measure of treatment progress, medication data gives an estimate of cost and efficacy.
